BUSINESS EFFICIENCY AND GEOPOLITICAL FACTORS IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE: A STUDY OF INDIA'S EMERGING POTENTIAL

This paper examines the concepts of business efficiency and competitiveness, as well as their empirical measures, with a focus on the role of regional/geopolitical factors in shaping international trade economies. It also explores India's post-independence scepticismtowards private businesses and foreign policy, along with its strategic thinking and trade economy. Additionally, the paper discusses post-pandemic opportunities for trade, particularly in the context of the Russian-Ukraine conflict and its potential impact on global economic dynamics.
