In modern conditions, the situation is aggravated by high competition in the labor market, the complexity of the content and nature of the work of specialists, the peculiarities of the younger generation entering into labor relations. In this article, the authors investigate the material and non-material motivation of young specialists in the oil and gas industry, based on the results of an empirical study that revealed the special preferences of employees of different age groups in relation to various incentive measures applied at the enterprise.
