In terms of body weight or feed consumption, there was no statistically significant difference between Shorna and ISA brown, and neither of the studied layer chickens had an impact on their FCR. Higher serum phosphorus and antibody titer levels were found in Shorna than in ISA brown (P<0.05). Additionally, the Shorna strain had more ovarian follicles than the ISA brown strain (P<0.05).
