Therefore, it is not to be surprised that social segregation is reproduced in diverse domains. This article analyses the afore mentioned segregation within sport and how it is misused as a potential contribution to collective welfare. Under current conditions, sport in Mexico reflects the exclusion of those with less and continues to prevail for a pecuniary vision that seeks sport spectacles with high financial profitability.
