We isolated DNA from a single, small (<7 mm), male specimen collected using non-ideal preservation methods and then performed whole-genome sequencing using PacBio HiFi technology. After quality and contaminant filtering, the final draft genome assembly is 327 Mb, with an N50 length of 17.5 Mb. Annotated repetitive elements compose 37.3% of the genome, although a large proportion (24.87%) of those are unclassified repeats. Additionally, we annotated 18,245 protein-coding genes and 19,433 transcripts. This genome represents one of only a few genomes from the large bee family Andrenidae and one of only a few genomes for pollinator specialists.
