All nesting females were found untagged and were subsequently tagged. Nesting activities occurred on the islands of Santo Antão, Sal, Boa Vista and Maio, most of them within the Sea Turtle Natural Reserve in Boa Vista Island. We suggest introducing new conservation strategies targeting the green, olive ridley, and hawksbill turtles nesting in Cabo Verde.
