The shoulder pain at 48 hours after the operation of the intervention and control groups were 1.15±1.46 and 0.85±1.73 points, respectively. There were no statistical differences in the mean difference between the two groups at 24 and 48 hours after operation (P=0.49; 95% confidence interval [CI], -0.61 to 1.91 and P=1.00; 95% CI, -0.96 to 1.56, respectively).
