Using a sample of Chinese agricultural firms, the empirical results verify the positive impact of AI use on environmental performance via green innovation of product and process. Moreover, our findings reveal that green culture positively moderates the impact of AI use on green product innovation, and it strengthens the positive mediation effect of green product innovation on the relationship between AI use and environmental performance.
