Abstract

Laboratory observations of enhancements of energetic-electron population are presented during magnetic reconnection associated with strong tearing mode in non-disruptive tokamak plasmas. The hard X‑ray (HXR) spectrum detected by cadmium-telluride (CdTe) scintillator detectors and the non-thermal radiation measured by the electron cyclotron emission (ECE) are used to analyze the behaviors of energetic electrons on HL-2A.
