Participants were 22 people with arterial hypertension in the city of Campina Grande, PB, Brazil. To measure usability, the Smartphone Usability questionnaiRE instrument was applied. Levels (70 points have good usability. Descriptive statistics were used.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The overall usability average was 105.8(7.44 points, with the lowest score being 83 and the highest being 113. Usability was at the highest level(80 points).</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The usability evaluation showed that, although it is a prototype, the application has good usability and can be considered for routine use in health self-management.
