To pursuit the aim, the research employed a quasi-experimental method with the participation of seventy-eight Grade 2 pupils who were divided into an intervention group and a non-intervention group. The data analysis indicates improvements in speaking performance among both groups after eight weeks of intervention. Particularly, the intervention group achieved higher improvement than the non-intervention in terms of memorizing the initial letter sounds, clearly pronouncing words and having better intonation. Besides, the majority of the participants in the intervention group held positive attitudes toward learning and improving their pronunciation and fluency by Text Shadowing technique. Most of them found interest and confidence in learning and speaking English. 摘要

本研究旨在探讨文本影子教学法对培养青少年英语口语技能的影响。为实现这一目标,研究采用了准实验法,将 78 名二年级学生分为干预组和非干预组。数据分析显示,经过八周的干预后,两组学生的口语成绩都有所提高。其中,干预组在记忆首字母发音、清晰发音和语调方面的进步高于非干预组。此外,干预组的大多数学员对通过文字影子技术学习和改善发音及流利程度持积极态度。他们中的大多数人都对学习和说英语充满了兴趣和信心。文章最后建议,进一步的研究应考虑更大的样本量,以更好地了解文本影子技术对口语技能影响的实际情况。
