In in-vitro assessments, it demonstrated effectiveness ranging from 54% to 79% against fungal infections, attributed to the significant presence of sesquiterpene, hydrocarbons, sesquiterpenols, δ-cadinene, α-cadinol, and epi-α-muurolol.
