The characteristics viz., seed yield per plant showed high GCV and PCV, moderate heritability and high genetic advance as a per cent of the mean. The characters viz. number of pods per plant, 100 seed weight, harvest index, number of secondary branches per plant and plant height recorded a highly positive significant correlation with seed yield at both genotypic and phenotypic levels.
