The articles in this special issue represent a wealth of knowledge in an under-researched area of Crisis Communication, highlighting both the complexity and the importance of mitigating crisis spillover risks. By bringing together these varied perspectives, this special issue not only enriches the academic discourse but also offers practical insights for practitioners. We believe that this collection of articles will serve as a cornerstone for future research, encouraging scholars to explore and address the gaps in our understanding of crisis contagion.
