This study contributes to the entrepreneurship literature by describing an educational experience based on active learning at a Spanish university. TED Talks were introduced to stimulate entrepreneurial intention in undergraduate students (n = 25) and master's degree students (n = 32). The impact of the experience was assessed using fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA). Given this approach, no single characteristic was found to lead to high (or low) levels of entrepreneurial intention in students. Instead, combinations of factors were found to cause this outcome. The findings show different student profiles that lead to high and low entrepreneurial intention.
