The results among 1000 undergraduate students showed that perceived stress was positively associated with procrastination, social addiction, and negative emotions. In addition, students’ procrastination was positively and significantly influenced by both social addiction and negative emotions, which in turn substantially mediated the link between stress and procrastination. Moreover, the results revealed that students’ mindfulness moderated the influence of stress on both social addiction and negative emotions.
