A brief assessment by the counsellor reveals a more critical case with symptoms of severe anxiety, suicidal ideations, and the\nunderlying family trauma of the young adult. This paper illustrates the course of therapeutic treatment for this young adult to resolve the symptoms\nof anxiety, deep-rooted trauma, and suicidal thoughts. Through a case study approach, the outcomes of the evidence-based techniques utilised by\nthe counsellor- Egan's Skilled Helper Model, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and the Assessment and Management of Suicide Risk—are\nshown.
