HTS is gaining attention from Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology companies for accelerating their drug discovery programs. Conventional drug discovery program is time consuming and expensive. In contrast drug repurposing approach is cost-effective and increases speed of drug discovery as toxicity profile is already known. The present chapter highlight HTS technology including microplate, microfluidics, lab-on-chip, organ-on-chip for drug repurposing.
