Three new dammarane-type triterpenoid saponins, namely 6′-crotonyl-(20 S)-ginsenoside Rg3 (1), 6′-crotonyl-(20 R)-ginsenoside Rg3 (2), and notoginsenolide A (3), were isolated from the steamed Panax notoginseng.
