Further exploration of their synthesis strategies and modulation methods for performance would be valuable in advancing the field of luminescence materials. In this review, the synthesis strategy, performance optimization, and research progress of metal complexes, clusters, and coordination polymers (CPs) with PL and TADF properties are summarized in detail.
