A 56-year-old cirrhotic patient presented with dyspnea and desaturation; his chest images showed a right pleural effusion. Another 66-year-old woman with cirrhosis, developed during her hospitalization acute respiratory failure, and her chest X- ray showed left pleural effusion. Initially, both patients were prescribed a dietary sodium restriction and diuretics. Nevertheless, they didn't have a good response so a chest tube was placed, and an octreotide infusion partially reduced the volume of the pleural drainage allowing a pleurodesis. 肝积水是肝硬化患者的一种渗出性胸腔积液。一名 56 岁的肝硬化患者出现呼吸困难和血氧饱和度下降，其胸部图像显示右侧胸腔积液。另一名 66 岁的女性肝硬化患者在住院期间出现急性呼吸衰竭，胸部 X 光片显示左侧胸腔积液。起初，两名患者都被处以饮食限钠和利尿剂。然而，他们的反应并不理想，因此医生为他们插上了胸管，并通过输注奥曲肽部分减少了胸腔引流液的体积，从而进行了胸腔穿刺术。我们报告了两例难治性肝积水病例，他们接受了包括奥曲肽和胸膜腔穿刺术在内的多种治疗。
