The neurocognitive functions of all subjects were measured by the repeatable battery for the assessment of neuropsychological status (RBANS). ANFES patients performed worse on cognition and had increased NLR values relative to healthy controls. In addition, increased NLR was negatively associated with cognitive functions in ANFES patients. Lymphocyte count was positively correlated with cognitive functions in patients.
