The 8th edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging of the esophagus cancers and esophagogastric junction presents separate classifications for clinical (cTNM), pathologic (pTNM), and pathologic after neoadjuvant treatment (ypTNM). In this article changes presented between the 7th and 8th editions of this TNM classification.
