To understand the operation of domestic traumatic brain injury (TBI) care teams and the benefits of certification for such teams.\nMethod: We evaluated the motivations for applying for DSC—TBI certification, performance scores, and certification recommendation reports of care teams that participated in the DSC—TBI certification program from 2019 to 2021. Furthermore, we investigated whether the performance and certification benefits differed among teams of different levels with identical certification standards.\nResult: The results revealed that the teams’ primary motivation for participating in the DSC—TBI certification program was to improve the quality of care they provided. The performance of the medical center in this accreditation is better than hospitals at other levels. Regarding certification benefits, the teams were most satisfied with the operation of the teams after integration.\nConclusion: We suggest that other care teams refer to the common problems encountered by the teams included in this study and comprehensively inspect the operation of their teams.
