Africanizing genome editing for food sustainability
Genome editing has great potential to alleviate the persistent food insecurity in Africa. However, achieving this goal is faced with a myriad of challenges. We describe components that we envisage are crucial in positioning Africa for an early commercial agricultural genome editing take-off.
