Each of us has surely experienced in his or her dream experience the nightmare of being judged dead and thus being buried while still alive. Some famous writings (recall among them Edgar Allan Poe's “Premature burial‘’) have certainly contributed to fears and suspicions regarding the definition of the exact moment of death, so much so that some inventors have patented suitable systems for communicating ‘the untimely burial.’'
