Therefore, they play an important role in both medicine and agriculture. The development and utilization of coumarin derivatives have attracted increasing attention. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the key biosynthesis-related enzymes of coumarin derivatives, such as cytochrome P450 enzyme(CYP450), prenyltransferase(PT), UDP-glucosyltransferase(UGT). Additionally, the pharmacological activities of these enzymes, including anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial activities, are systematically summarized.
