In this study, we investigated the vertical distribution of CsMPs in soils collected from Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The distribution of CsMPs was relatively large in the soil surface layer. Vertical distribution of radioactive cesium rich microparticles in Fukushima soils
Radioactive cesium rich microparticles (CsMPs) could partially increase 137Cs concentration of the samples collected from the environment after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident. In this study, we investigated the vertical distribution of CsMPs in soils collected from Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The distribution of CsMPs was relatively large in the soil surface layer.
