On Saphar’s Approximation Property of Order p and the $$w_p$$ -Approximation Property
We characterize Saphar’s approximation property of order p in terms of a density of finite rank operators in the space of absolutely p-summing operators. We also study the approximation property of the tensor norm associated with the ideal of p-dominated operators.

The Mediterranean Journal of Mathematics (MedJM) is a publication issued by the Department of Mathematics of the University of Bari. The new journal replaces the Conferenze del Seminario di Matematica dell’Università di Bari which has been in publication from 1954 until 2003.
