Despite the clinical efficacy of incretin-based therapies, high costs, suboptimal access, limited insurance coverage, and therapeutic inertia present substantial barriers to widespread adoption. Overcoming these obstacles is essential for the equitable initiation, access, and utilization of incretin-based therapies.
