The efficacy indices of the SMILE and FS-LASIK groups were 1.04 ± 0.23 and 0.97 ± 0.23 (P=0.405), and the safety indices were 1.18 ± 0.19 and 1.10 ± 0.17 (P=0.543), respectively. This study demonstrates the good predictivity of both SMILE and FS-LASIK.
