Sheep consuming 2% DSW exhibited higher plasma electrolyte levels compared to other groups. But plasma levels of AST, ALT, and creatinine were unaffected by DSW (<i>p</i> &gt; 0.05). The elevated levels and excretions of urinary electrolytes were found in DSW groups (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.05). Water balance was unaffected by DSW, except during the recovery period.
