Additionally, pharmacological interventions, especially antihyperglycemic agents, play a pivotal role in treating MASLD in patients with T2DM. Novel therapeutic agents targeting various pathways of metabolic and liver dysfunction are under investigation, offering hope for more effective management strategies.
