The immobilized unsymmetrical salamo complex of manganese (MCM-41-Mn salamo) was used as a catalyst in the epoxidation of the alkenes with H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>. The effect of various reaction parameters which may affect the conversion such as reaction time, temperature, amount of catalyst, oxidant and imidazole was investigated.
