Filling the void: Expanding the role of PAs in palliative care.

Abstract: Palliative care, which focuses on symptom management, quality of life, and communication, is appropriate for patients at any age and any stage in the disease process. Because of increased patient demand, the United States faces a shortage of palliative care specialists.
