In 2019, the Sarine outpatient care service introduced a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to support the teams and management in systematically analyzing clinical practice. In some nursing homes, the INTERCARE model, developed by Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs), has been implemented. With specially trained nurses, this model has reduced unplanned hospitalizations and increased staff satisfaction.
