The model presents interesting magnetic phenomena, such as compensation temperatures and discontinuous transitions in the finite temperature phase diagrams of the magnetization and magnetic susceptibility, when the single-ion anisotropies were varied. The influence of the crystal fields is also reflected in the hysteretic behavior of the ferrimagnet, with phenomena of multiple loops and superparamagnetism.
