There has been a recent surge in research around the application of lasers for the management of TMD. Nonetheless, the scarcity of scientific clinical studies with structured laser parameters makes it difficult to draw a more concrete conclusion whether lasers in the treatment of TMD are more effective than traditional TMD treatments.
