修订了Adeditia Gramm和Egorov(1986)属和Proeditia Bushmina(1979)属的诊断。
Dimorphism in family Editiidae Knüpfer, 1967 (Ostracoda)
This paper reports the peculiarities of dimorphism based on some early representatives of the family Editiidae Knüpfer, 1967. A new genus Blumeditia n. gen., four new species (Blumeditia eleganta n.gen. n. sp., Blumeditia pretzella n. gen. n. sp., Blumeditia auctus n. gen. n. sp., Adeditia tkachovae n. sp.), one new subspecies (Proeditia auriculata dimorpha n. subsp.) and six taxa in open nomenclature (Proeditia aff. cristataBushmina, 1979, Proeditia auriculata subsp. 1, Proeditia auriculata subsp. 2, Proeditia? sp. 2, Proeditia? sp. 3, and Blumeditia aff. furcata (Sobolev, 1998)) are systematically described from deposits of the Famennian–Tournaisian shelf of northeastern Laurussia (North and Subpolar Urals, southern part of the Chernyshev Ridge, Russia). The diagnoses of the genera AdeditiaGramm and Egorov, 1986 and ProeditiaBushmina, 1979 are revised. The stratigraphic ranges of the genera ProeditiaBushmina, 1979, Blumeditia n. gen., and AdeditiaGramm and Egorov, 1986 (20 taxa) are shown. Possible phylogenetic relationships of the studied taxa are presented. The three taxa belonging to the closely related genera AdeditiaGramm and Egorov, 1986, Blumeditia n. gen., and ProeditiaBushmina, 1979 show dimorphic differences of the extradomiciliar supratype that have not previously been documented in members of the family Editiidae Knüpfer, 1967.
期刊介绍:
Palaeoworld is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal dedicated to the study of past life and its environment. We encourage submission of original manuscripts on all aspects of palaeontology and stratigraphy, comparisons of regional and global data in time and space, and results generated by interdisciplinary investigations in related fields. Some issues will be devoted entirely to a special theme whereas others will be composed of contributed articles. Palaeoworld is dedicated to serving a broad spectrum of geoscientists and palaeobiologists as well as serving as a resource for students in fields as diverse as palaeobiology, evolutionary biology, taxonomy and phylogeny, geobiology, historical geology, and palaeoenvironment.
Palaeoworld publishes original articles in the following areas:
•Phylogeny and taxonomic studies of all fossil groups
•Biostratigraphy, chemostratigraphy, chronostratigraphy
•Palaeoecology, palaeoenvironment and global changes throughout Earth history
•Tempo and mode of biological evolution
•Biological events in Earth history (e.g., extinctions, radiations)
•Ecosystem evolution
•Geobiology and molecular palaeobiology
•Palaeontological and stratigraphic methods
•Interdisciplinary studies focusing on fossils and strata
