And in the group without acupuncture, only on two scales MDS and Borg scale.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Rehabilitation with acupuncture is possible and effective in patients recovering from post-COVID-19. 摘要

目的:本研究的目的是评估在医院环境中使用和不使用针灸进行复杂康复的有效性。方法:在哈萨克斯坦阿拉木图的Kamenskoe Plato康复中心进行随机临床试验。在2022年3月1日至2022年7月1日期间,160名新冠肺炎后患者被随机平均分为具有复杂康复方法的针灸组和唯一复杂康复方法组。两组均进行10-14天的治疗。结果指标为Bartel指数、Borg量表、改良呼吸困难量表和6分钟步行测试。还对不良事件进行了监测和记录。结果:我们发现针灸康复后,在所有量表上都有统计学上的显著改善。而在不针灸组中,仅在MDS和Borg两个量表上。结论:针灸对COVID-19后康复患者的康复是可行和有效的。我们的发现可能有助于指导临床医生照顾COVID-19后患者。

Acupuncture as an Additional Method of Rehabilitation Post-COVID-19: a randomized controlled trial.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of complex rehabilitation with and without acupuncture in a hospital setting.

Methods: A randomized clinical trial was performed at Rehabilitation center "Kamenskoe Plato" in Almaty, Kazakhstan. 160 patients with Post COVID-19 condition were randomly equally divided into an acupuncture with complex rehabilitation methods and a only complex rehabilitation methods group in the period from March 1, 2022 to July 1, 2022. Either groups was performed for an 10-14 days period. The outcome measures were the Bartel index, the Borg scale, Modified Dyspnea Scale and the 6-minute walking test. Adverse events also were monitored and documented.

Other categories include chuna treatment, veterinary acupuncture and related animal studies, alternative medicines for treating cancer and cancer-related symptoms, etc. Broader topical coverage on the effects of acupuncture, the medical plants used in traditional and alternative medicine, pharmacological action and other related modalities, such as anthroposophy, homeopathy, ayurveda, bioelectromagnetic therapy, chiropractic, neural therapy and meditation, can be considered to be within the journal’s scope if based on acupoints and meridians. Submissions of original articles, review articles, systematic reviews, case reports, brief reports, opinions, commentaries, medical lectures, letters to the editor, photo-essays, technical notes, and book reviews are encouraged.
