Sebagai solusi yang ditawarkan untuk masalah ini, kami telah menerapkan sistem pengontrolan ON/OFF, intensitas dan durasi lampu penerangan untuk diaplikasikan menyerupai sistem Smart Home secara otomatis. Sistem SCADA sederhana telah dibuat untuk mengendalikan beban lampu dan memonitoring konsumsi daya yang digunakan di rumah tangga, dengan demikian penghematan pemakaian daya listrik dapat dilakukan dengan lebih maksimal.Pengurangan konsumsi energi paling besar didapatkan dari penjadwalan ON/OFF lampu penerangan, pengaturan otomatis intensitas lampu dari umpan balik sensor cahaya dan pengaturan durasi penyalaan lampu sesuai dengan penggunaan jenis beban yang dikehendaki. Pada percobaan penerapan 1 LED lampu teras rumah, telah dibuktikan penghematan daya listrik sebesar ±90%. \n \nElectricity consumption by customers in Indonesia.
