We investigated whether oral administration of NOB or 4’-demethyl NOB inhibits dry skin-induced alloknesis in a mouse model. As a result, both treatments were effective to inhibit mechanical alloknesis. These compounds may be promising candidates to lead to the development of therapeutic agents for mechanical alloknesis.
