This paper will share the results of a recent study conducted by Cambridge University using data provided from DEKRA clients. The study involves 88 international clients who provided over 1.3 million observational data points, including monthly incident and culture survey data. The findings challenge traditional assumptions about BBS initiatives. For example, the study strongly suggests that having a limited number of “dedicated observers” is more effective than processes that encourage all employees to participate. The data also suggest that being observed once a month is more effective than more frequent observations.
