Review of the genus Cavelerius (Heteroptera: Blissidae) with descriptions of three new species from China and Southeast Asia
The species of the genus Cavelerius Distant, 1903 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Lygaeoidea: Blissidae) are reviewed based on re-examination of the type images. A total of thirteen
species are recognized in this genus, including three new species: Cavelerius nigrivena sp.
nov. from Thailand and Laos; Cavelerius parvimaculatus sp. nov. from Thailand, and Cavelerius yunnanensis sp. nov. from China: Yunnan. Cavelerius tinctus (Distant, 1903) is newly recorded from China, and Cavelerius antennatus Slater & Miyamoto, 1963 is newly recorded from India: Meghalaya. A key to all known species of Cavelerius is provided.

AEMNP is publishing papers on:
Insect systematics, taxonomy and nomenclature;
Morphology of adult and immature stages and/or their biology with possible applications in taxonomy and phylogeny;
Phylogeny at least partly based on morphological characters (or with morphological characters mapped on the tree);
Catalogues applicable for further taxonomy and biodiversity studies;
General papers on methodology of insect taxonomy.
