At present, the important steps in sedation treatment of gastrointestinal examination include standardization of sedation depth standards; on the basis of preoperative evaluation of patients and the requirements for sedation depth, sedation/anaesthesia staff are selected to monitor indicators and determine individualized sedation/analgesic regimen. This is very important for achieving programmatic sedation.
