Bawdry, Cuckoldry, and Usury in Early Modernity and Postmodernity

A mid themyriad tribulations of their professional lives, scholars of English Renaissance literature can take comfort from the knowledge that their specialist expertise is badly, even desperately, needed by contemporary society.
