The process of light transfer (“fate”) by light photons was traced from the moment of appearance in the scintillator to the moment of passing through its exit window. The light collection coefficient was determined as the ratio of the number of photons that passed through the exit window to a given number of emitted photons. Different values of the number of emitted photons, optical transparency coefficients and fractions of the surface diffuse reflection were set. Multiple repetitions of the simulation process for a different set of properties made it possible to evaluate the precision and type A uncertainty of simulating the light collection coefficient for all possible options. 摘要

本文研究了用蒙特卡罗方法模拟NaI (Tl)和BGO闪烁体中光传递过程的统计不确定性评定。采用了具有统一表面模型的DETECT2000程序。从光在闪烁体中出现的那一刻到通过其出口窗口的那一刻,追踪了光子的光传递(“命运”)过程。光收集系数被确定为通过出口窗口的光子数量与给定数量的发射光子的比率。设置了发射光子数、光学透明系数和表面漫反射分数的不同值。对不同属性的模拟过程进行多次重复,可以评估模拟所有可能选项的光收集系数的精度和a类不确定性。结果表明,不确定度随发射光子统计量的增大而减小,随透明度和漫反射分数的减小而增大。
