A huge variety of software reliability growth models (SRGMs) have been developed to explain statistically how system reliability varies over time by monitoring the failure data sets during the testing process. The paper proposes a new SRGM based on taking into account the fault removal efficiency which is the ratio of corrected and detected faults during the testing process.
