Namun dalam pelaksanaannya program-program CSR yang diterapkan berbeda di tiap perusahaan, tergantung pada pemaknaan perusahaan terhadap konsep CSR. Hal ini berdampak pada implementasi program CSR dan modal sosial yang nantinya terbangun antara perusahaan dengan masyarakat lokal. Penelitian terdahulu, lebih banyak membahas mengenai evaluasi program CSR, namun belum menunjukkan dampak lebih lanjut dari hasil evaluasi program tersebut.Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program CSR yang baik akan berdampak pada terbangunnya modal sosial yang baik pula. Implementasi program yang baik terlihat dari terpenuhinya tahapan implementasi program. Modal sosial dianggap penting dalam implementasi program karena melalui modal sosial perusahaan memperoleh penerimaan dari masyarakat lokal dan pemerintah daerah, yang dapat membantu mempermudah jalannya bisnis perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai keberhasilan penerapan program CSR dan terbentuknya modal sosial. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam serta observasi. The Forming of Social Capital between Corporation and Community through the Implementation of CSR Programs: Case Study of An Offshore Oil and Gas Company in North Jakarta
Abstrak CSR ( Corporate Social Responsibility ) merupakan kewajiban sosial yang harus dijalankan oleh perusahaan yang berdiri di Indonesia berdasarkan berbagai undang-undang yang berlaku. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya program-program CSR yang diterapkan berbeda di tiap perusahaan, tergantung pada pemaknaan perusahaan terhadap konsep CSR. Hal ini berdampak pada implementasi program CSR dan modal sosial yang nantinya terbangun antara perusahaan dengan masyarakat lokal. Penelitian terdahulu, lebih banyak membahas mengenai evaluasi program CSR, namun belum menunjukkan dampak lebih lanjut dari hasil evaluasi program tersebut.Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program CSR yang baik akan berdampak pada terbangunnya modal sosial yang baik pula. Implementasi program yang baik terlihat dari terpenuhinya tahapan implementasi program.
