Basically, they offer some preliminary remarks about the problem of vagueness and defend several criteria for evaluating the adequacy of the solutions. Chapters 4 and 5 are discussed in more detail. Chapter 4, because it presents the author’s criticism of the most important theories of vagueness, and Chapter 5, because it presents his own original theory.
